As far as I can remember, I played board games. My 5 years old self and my father were fiercly (or so I though until I was old enough to understand that he was letting me win most of the time) competing in a small game of reflexes where you had to ring a bell when you had the same card as your opponent.
This ended up sharpening my reflexes, which 18 years later would serve me to win the heart of my wife, after beating her in a heated game of Jungle Speed (don’t ask her though she’ll lie and deny everything).
After that it was only a matter of time until I accumulated hundreds of board games that I was frequently bringing at friends turning any occasion into a game nigth !
Until COVID hit…
And i was forced to play board games online. Dear lord I hated it. It was so complicated to find people willing to play, and even if you managed that, the experience was mediocre…at best.
That’s why decided to build Boardcade. To bring to myself and to others the seamless and enjoyable experience digital board game players deserve.
